A new set of lenses will freshen up the appearance of your dash.  The centers of the Tach and Speedometer lens are bright chrome and the lettering is clear and distinct. The set includes all of the Dash Mounted XR7 lenses: Speedometer, Tachometer, OIL, TEMP, FUEL, AMPS.  As an added bonus you also get an extra lens labeled VOLTS so you can easily swap that inoperative AMP meter for a more useful VOLT meter.

The 1967 XR7 used a small opening in the bottom of the speedometer lens for the trip reset button. In 1968 Mercury redesigned the lens enlarging the opening for the trip odometer reset button.  So be sure to order the correct year lens set for you car.

Replacing the OIL lens requires removing the entire dash bezel.  If you are updating the bezel, you really should consider replacing the lenses at the same time.
