Finally a correct Mustang Vent kit featuring the black camera case or pebble grain finish!  The Complete Vent Kit includes both driver- and passenger-side vents, the center vent, plus the three knobs for the driver’s side. Better than originals!  Ford used back paint in the area around the knobs and it did not stick well to the chrome, easily getting scraped and nicked.  We developed a very thin injection molded plastic cover that uses 3M VHB adhesive to laminate it to the vent.  No more scratches and the knobs don’t rattle against the vent.  The passenger side vent and both sides of the center vent are finished the same way and include the factory style back camera case of pebble grain finish.

This is a very-close-to-original reproduction that fits right and works right. The original 1968 vent had a break-away lower section, with an emphasis on broken.  If you are tired of having your original vent drop the register on the floor, we fixed that. We redesigned the driver-side vent as a single piece to fix this designed-in defect. The passenger-side is also now a one piece design. The original center vent had two minor issues that we also corrected.  The vanes that direct the air pivoted on very small axle tabs.  We made those about 30% larger so no more broken vanes.  The two main mounting studs on the back now have a much stronger base so they won’t be breaking off when you install the vent. The standard Mustang dash would have had camera case black pebble grain, but the Deluxe interior used wood grain applied to the upper surface of the passenger side vent and each end of the center vent. There are several suppliers that offer the wood grain as a vinyl applique.   We can supply you with plain vents without the black pebble grain for use with those cars. You will need to reuse your existing controls.
