Description

The overhead console is one of the unique features of the XR-7, and for 1968, Mercury added a wood-grain trim to surround the warning lights as well as changing the colors of the lenses and moving the lettering to the outside of the lens. It is very hard to find an original part that is not extremely pitted, and even harder to disassemble to clean it up for rechroming. To do this part right we had to tool up individual lenses, bulb mounts and mounting clips.
